In “Molino de Jaranda” they carry out natural, ethical and educational beekeeping, and they give the possibility of carrying out such interesting activities as:
Being a beekeeper for a day.
The sponsorship of a beehive.
An intensive course in organic beekeeping.
A honey extraction and packaging workshop.
They preserve traditional honey production methods while organising training days to promote the durability of these techniques over time and that production is sustainable and environmentally friendly. In addition, they encourage the sustainable use of natural resources thus improving and regenerating water, soil and their surroundings in a protected natural environment. Besides, the maintenance of traditional production, linked to the training experiences they provide, represents a commitment to cultural heritage.
The use of the natural honey production system by bees, facilitating its process, creating new jobs in remote rural areas, as they also provide training and offer the opportunity to learn about the entire production process of honey allowing the maintenance of traditional production systems. The ecolodge they run together with the activity can bring an added value to the whole exprerience.
