The project organises a communications and advocacy campaign during its last 6 months including regional or national webinars in each country and one international webinar to advocate for the development of culinary tourism experiences as a tool for rural tourism development, resilience and recovery as well as regenerative destinations or similar.
On March 25, we hosted our final International Webinar, focusing on collaboration, education, and policy in regenerative food tourism. Partners from LANARA Consulting, DomSpain, Universidade de Aveiro, Tivat Municipality, Cámara de Comercio de Cáceres, and EURAKOM shared insights, best practices, and policy recommendations.
We believe that a lot more needs to be done to break down barriers, confront challenges and support the development of regenerative tourism. We will advocate for training and support in the food tourism sector, increased collaboration across sectors to make sure that food producers and SMEs are integrated into the tourism ecosystem.
