The experience provides a guided mindfulness tour in Goriška Brda wine region, where visitors learn and discover the entire annual cycle of the grapevine and the local speciality, Motnik wine. A visitor is invited to discover the story of Goriška Brda, which is is renowned for its exquisite wines, with all his/her senses and embark on a journey of self-reflection.

The experience builds on combining two aspects: 1. Learning about local wine culture and old authentic Motnik wine, 2. Learning and practising mindful/intinity activity by the visitor. It is about experiencing Goriška Brda through guided mindfulness and discovering the entire annual cycle of the grapevine and the Motnik wine.

The tourist experience has been developed and is carried out by a local winemaker, local food suppliers, an ethnologist, and a psychotherapy science expert, who are all collaborating to provide the tourist experience. This tourism experience is part of the Slovenia Unique Experiences (SUE).

Benefits

Intinity wine bliss mindfull experience in Brda offers meaningful and unique experiences to tourists, helping them to discover a place through a local cuisine and better understand the local culture. The visitor experience is enhanced by focusing on mindfulness and self-reflection, leading to more awakened visitors, who better understand the importance of wine and olive production in the Brda region and its meaning to local people. This regenerative food tourism experience has been developed in interdisciplinary collaboration among different local stakeholders and professionals. As a result, the experience protects and promotes cultural heritage, folklore, gastronomy, local landmarks and traditions in an authentic way and among others, the Motnik ritual wine was brought back to life.
